Sold my TTS and bought an M4 manual. Didn't care for the steering or exhaust and sold it for a '16 Spyder. Love love love the Spyder. '11 RRS as a daily.

I do want to scratch the ridiculously fast acceleration itch again at some point. I wouldn't mind an M5 to split daily duty either, but lease rates suck at the moment. I don't see going back to a TTS, though from time to time the idea jumps into my head again... but think I'd prefer the M5 (nearly as fast, way more practical) over it while still keeping the Spyder.

I'm just so happy with the TTS I would not do it.
+1. But I’m not inclined to do it, either.

I had 3 911s MT and loved them. Last one was 991.1 GTS. I love manuals, however in turbo version anything, including 991.2 GTS, I like PDK better. My TTS is one great fun. Considering adding 991.1 MT GTS back. Wish GT3T had the back seat.

Manual 991.2 gts manual here with cobb tune, exhaust, ect. dynod 450/450 on a mustang dyno.

Drove a 991 gt3 and felt way slower and soulless down low with no tq. I was going to buy a 17tts but wanted a true manual.

My Corvette's have all been manuals, so when I miss shifting I drive the Z06 or ZR1, also when I miss melting the tires

If you have a TT or TTS and have a nagging thought in the back of your mind.... as great as this car is, something is missing.... Maybe you are a candidate for a GT3 Touring.

The Touring scratches all my itches. I could not be happier with the whole driving experience.

If you are happy with the Turbo experience, I salute you AND all the money you will save.
spot on

This thread and a number of other recent ones discussing choosing between one model or another have all helped convince me not to sell my current 6 speed hyper engaging car and I`ll just add the TS that`s on order for a dynamic duo. No matter how you agonize over it there just is not one Porsche or other brand of sports car that ticks all the boxes, especially when some of them are manual, back seat, luggage space, thrilling exhaust sound, AWD, light weight, huge low end torque, exceptional build quality and reliability, all weather use, and PDK I would think it would be hard enough to scratch all the itches with just two!

Kept my 993 for 6MT/clutch shifting and the TTS for daily driver........I shift the PDK in manual mode and the brain still tells me when to shift so I feel I am totally engaged or connected to the car when driving........whether with the shifter or the paddles........with the TTS....
