991.2 TTS pricing

I have the itch for another new Porsche, this late into 991 production are people getting discounts on new TTS orders? My other option would be to wait on the 992 TTS with 600 plus HP.

neil.schneider 11-12-2018 12:41 AM

The new TTSs won’t be out until mid 2020 as a 2021 model. That’s a long time to wait. Why not pick up a really low mileage CPO or even a low mileage one without a CPO now?

I haven't priced new - but I'm seeing well equipped 17-18 models (sticker of $215-225) with less than 10k miles in the $180-190 range... I believe I saw a thread here a few weeks ago about 6% off sticker for new. Plano (TX) Porsche told me they received 8 GT2RS allocations (I saw two of them), but only received 3 TTS allocations in model year 2018.

I got 4% when I ordered in August. Car should arrive at dealership tomorrow.

I got 4% on my TT back in June 2018.

Lo911TTS 11-18-2018 07:26 PM

I took delivery of my TT last month and got 7% off and free window tint for compensation on a long delay with my order.

That's a good discount. How long was it between order and delivery, and did they offer you more discount to prevent you from cancelling?

It was a 9 month wait, originally it was a 2018 but after
the CA screwed my order they changed it to a 2019.
I was happy with the 7% and no one in my region
even came close to that discount so I just went with it.

New 2019 Guards Red TT

Getting only 3%, but got on the dealer list end July for a 1Q19 build and delivery in April(after winter and warm weather vacations). So, OK with that discount. Looks like it will actually be built in February. Seems like Guards Red is not is fashion, but my first Porsche 944 war GR as was my 1993 RS America. Current 2012 911 GTS is Basalt Black metallic.

ENCT 11-19-2018 12:17 PM

Everyone can feel good about their discounts, I got 1%.

2019 Turbo S's are incredibly rare, 4-5 percent is a GREAT discount. Those who have gotten more are insanely lucky, many aren't getting almost anything given the new ones aren't coming out for at LEAST 2 actual years (landing at dealers in the states, not the announcement). The car is totally worth it, I couldn't be happier with my 19 S cab, and I've been through most modern 911s offered...this is one of the best.
