Front axle lift question/problem

I appreciate any suggestions; the car will be going to the dealer next week or so but I'd love to hear there is a simple home remedy.
Issue: car has FAL and has shown no issues prior to today. As of today, when the FAL button is pressed, nothing happens- no light on the button, no warning about front being raised, front does not raise. Same if quick tap (which works in my other car with FAL) or holding button. Tried all doors closed, in park, in drive, slowly creeping along, unhooked battery for ten minutes and then drove for ten and then tried, etc.............BUT- when driving along at >38mph, pressing the button does bring up the dash warning that the speed must be decreased for FAL to function (so something in the circuit is talking).
Thoughts? Have checked fuses.
Full disclosure- this is on a 2017 TTS but I know GT car guys deal with FAL more than the Turbo crew so I cross posted there also in case it is not a Turbo specific deal...
Thanks, CP

Plug a code reader (or a cobb if you have one) there must a fault code. It is a hydraulic system, but not complex at all. Dealer will surely fix it.

I have FAL in the RS and no FAL in the TTS. I won't ever order FAL again.

There was a service bulletin on my 17 TT….I believe they replaced the seals…Your dealer should know about it…good luck!!

If you happen to know a bulletin number or more specifics so I can best inform my dealer of this, I'd really appreciate the assistance. Couple of hours to our dealer and I'd like for him to be well-read and prepared t troubleshoot efficiently.
Thanks, Chris
