Strange Dark Streaks Behind Wheel Well On Drivers Side

I too believe that this is the case and it seems to be a common "affliction" of the TTS. I first saw it on mine when the car was brand new and read comments that it is windshield washer fluid. It's most noticeable after "energetic" driving. Gradually the problem subsided, right up until I had an oil change, and it started back up again. Looking at the work order I saw that the dealer had topped off the windshield washer fluid.
I used a turkey baster to remove some of the fluid and the problem got less noticeable and is ALMOST now gone, but occasionally can still be seen after energetic driving. I will probably run the washer a few times the next time I wash the car.

Not just a TTS issue, it's been seen on ANY MODEL 991 as well I've seen it on my 981 Cayman.

What was the result of the experiment? Mine does this too.
I looked at the washer fill reservoir by removing the cosmetic panel under the frunk but you can't see too much. However there does appear to be a "neck" in the washer filler so perhaps there is a joint that the washer fluid is able to slosh out of under loads?
I can't detect anything wet in there, the washer fluid cap is secure, and there are no puddles. I did notice the fluid was frothy after aggressive driving.

I'm happy to report back (after a year or so, lol) that it was indeed from the windshield wiper fluid tank. I removed a significant amount of fluid (about 3 x 1 liter sized water bottles) and the problem has never come back. Although I'm not sure how you accomplish that by using a turkey baster as the tank resides way down in the fender. I used a flexible hose and siphoned it out. But all is well now.

The responses posted above are similar to what I've been reading online, however I think its absurd that no clear or definitive source can be found. I mean there is clearly seepage from somewhere. What I will do is remove all the water from the windshield washer reservoir and drive the car in that condition for a bit. If there are no more streaks, then I will fill the tank back up and drive it some more. If the streaks reappear then the culprit is clear. Keep you all posted...
