Can’t you just use the button on the center console? I only used it one time just to make sure it worked other than that the button has always been pushed disabling it.

http://t-design9.com/memory_module.html

A side note...no need to remove the side bolster as per video...simply carefully pry out the console insert piece that will house the module under it with plastic tool

I'm more curious than anything, but why bother? Turned mine off day one and never had an issue since. Is there a technical reason or risk issue of some sort? Unintended engine turnoff malfunctions reported etc...?

Yes off always, 2015 TTS, button on console once, AND driver/key memory settings to keep it off.

Stays off all modes, you may want to check with your dealer.

With the '14 models (at least) the auto-stop module defaults on and the sport setting defaults to off setting when the engine is shut down...this module allows the sport selection to be maintained on if selected on at shut down and auto-stop off always..991.2 I believe are different

On my '14 TTS, I turned it off on Day 1 and have never had to touch it since!
