Shift Points in Sport Pus Mode
 

I have a question for those who have the 991.1 TTS models. I am just getting accustomed to this car and was wondering if I could get some feedback. I tried running the car in Super Sport Mode and it seemed liked it revved very close to the redline without upshifting (about 6,000 RPM or so). I was concerned about overrevving the car so I backed off. Does anyone know at what RPM it should upshift?

yes, it revs very high in sport plus mode, it's really for maximum acceleration, at first I thought it was a problem with my car so I had it checked by the dealer, but they told me it works fine, so I only use sport and not sport plus for normal driving

Do you have the PDK Tune from Cobb, if so it can get up there quick...mine will shift at 7,200 rpm on Sport Plus. Even without the PDK tune you will be fine, the PDK ECU will not let you over rev.

Even stock it should shift near 7200 in Sport Plus. To be clear...don't be surprised if it runs over 7K for a split second.
