Nitto NT01 Anyone?
I see on their website the following sizes for 20 inch wheels:255/40ZR20 (97Y)3712206.328.0310.248.5-(9.0)-10.01609@5129.59315/30ZR20 (101Y)3712106.327.4812.6010.5-(11.0)-11.51819@5134.42
Would this work for our cars, or the differentials would freak the freak out? 28.03 front and 27.48 rear looks very close... it is about 2% variance front to rear In comparison the TOYOs R888R in 255/35 front and 315/30 rears have 27 diameter front and 27.5 rear... again with half inch... 1.8% difference Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s in 245/35 front and 305/30 rear are 26.8 front and 27.2 rear respectively.. 1.49% difference What do you guys think? |
Nitto won’t work...rear needs to be around .3-.6 larger than front overall diameter |

I used NT01 too on my 997 cars..great tire. I tried R888 back then too..horrible tire. Not sure about the newer R888-R versions though...I’d like to,try them but I’ve been real happy with Michelin Sport Cup 2. |
hard to find an overall better tire set than the various Michelin offerings for these...honestly not sure one would ever really need anything else unless you're into a drag tire for 1/4 mile cars, but that's just me.
