My winter wheel set has arrived! I have an appt for my dealer to install them on Oct. 25; dealer will store the off-season set (and we'll do the same change back in the spring). What a relief it is to look forward to cold weather driving instead of 5+ months of pining away -- and giving that marvelous engine huge gulps of cold air!

As I've said before. I admire those who drive in the winter, and in the snow. I just can't bring myself to the thought of ice, or stones from salt trucks hitting my pristine baby. But I have to admit, it kills me not to drive my car for a period of 3 months on average in the winter..
During this time I usually plan any mods for my car, read more of the manual on the fine nuances of the PCM system, and wait for hopefully an early spring. This winter I'm working with Stef on purchasing the Stage II Europipe exhaust and getting that installed along with new Michelin's this coming spring. It still burns me that my car was sent from Germany with P-Zeros. I feel for the cost of the car you should be able to select which tires you prefer. With that being said, enjoy the Holidays and for those who embrace it, enjoy torquing through the drifts of snow.
