If that doesn't work you can remove 2 upper drivers side front inside fender liner screws and just reach behind to pull cable manually.

Carl I nearly did this spring when I picked up my car...I disconnected battery last fall and left hood unlatched,,,put cover on car and as I was leaving the owner of the storage garage says "oh you left your hood open" and went to push it closed...caught him just in time

I just had to do it this weekend. Still no idea why the battery died on a regularly driven car. Everything seems normal after I recharged the battery. One caveat to what's described in the video - the part that he uses for the ground in the vid was fully painted on my car with no bare metal, so clamping to it would not have worked. I clamped to the loop that the door latch latches on. Another thing to keep in mind is that the trunk open button in the car still did not work and only the remote control could open the trunk, but that's in the manual.

I drove the car thru the winter last year so I didn't come across this issue, my selling dealer did send me a Porsche battery charger with the car, thanks

Hi guys,

Angravity is coming out with a cable extension that will attach to the current cable that sits in the wheel-well, it will be sitting close to the windshield and you would not need to jump the fuse box.
