Reasonable price to install springs?

Darn, I'm having the same debate . . . I like the lowered ride height look, but I am also enjoying "never" scraping, I also tend to back into parking spots, so curbs tend not to be a problem . . . I am also considering TechArt since I think it's the smallest change from stock - I also don't want to mess with PDCC . . . Decisions, decisions . . . KH

If you raise the front lip spoiler, my stock Alfa 4C scrapes in places that my 991TT on techart springs would clear. It’s not crazy aggressive or anything. It also looks great.
While front lips usually are what will scrape, I think the TT on lowering springs is very close to the ride height of a stock GT3.

I paid $700CDN and change for my Techarts to go on with alignment.

Does the lower springs do anything other than change the look? I picked up a 991.1 TT a couple months ago and on list to have a bunch of mods from Sam done here in Chicagoland. Trying to get a list of what to do next.

I am hesitant to jump in here but believe the OP's question was answered on reasonable costs to install springs. Curious from everyone on their experience for the NON-DIY's with time, effort, and $ invested in modifying their cars.
Not sure why but it seems like EVERY TIME I try to do something on my car(S) it is way bigger of a production (time, $, etc.) than anticipated.
A few examples with me recently:
- Adjusting the exhaust tips. First time to the shop, tips were in 1"+, brought it back and they now stick out too far (1.5"+). Needs to go back again...
- Added Yellow Gauges and Chrono. Ended up costing me $2,800 with my mistakes, parts, and labor.
I am thinking on doing meth injection. The re-tune with Sam will cost me $3K, plus the Kit which "starts at $1,500" but I will budge $3K for a top of the line system. If I get a quote for install I am going to 2x the cost in my mind then I need to add another $2K for custom tuning ++++. Then, I need to add my time going back and forth and the (first world problem) of the "mental anguish".
Funny thing is I bought the car modded (turbo's, intercoolers, tune, exhaust, and lowered) and from a performance (not just how it performs but how the engine behaves = AFR's and AIT's) and dependability perspective the car has been awesome.
I am I on an island?

If you are not pulling your own wrenches, just put a bit more time into researching your plan and find a good shop you can work with that will not rape you.
That being said, I am in a similar boat - I do not touch body parts (I tend to cause more damage than achieve forward momentum), but some of the other things you mention, like adjusting the exhaust tips, is fairly straight forward and you can do with simple hand tools.
I would have never gotten into changing gauge faces, but that is just me.

I plan on doing the Eibachs myself in the next week or two. From what I've read, really doesn't look all that complicated. Most DIYers are doing it in 1-2 hours per corner. I'd think a good shop can do the whole job in 3-4 hours or less, plus alignment..
