991.2 Aero Kit Problematic?

Guys, I have a 2012 997.2 GTS with the aero kit and have had a few issues with scraping the plastic front lip. Only the underside and it flexes a bit, so no real damage and I have learned to live with it. I'm considering purchasing a 2017 Turbo with the aero kit and was wonder what experience people have had with the front spoiler? The car does no have front axle lift. Appreciate the help.

No issues. It has the same inflatable front splitter as the non-aero Turbo, so no problem with scaping at all. I got the lift and ended up needing it once and more as a precaution than a necessity.

I've not had any trouble yet with my 991.2, but do have the lift which enables me to consider lowering the car a bit via springs without driveway concerns. Given the replacement cost of the front spoiler, I try to be very careful!

I have a 2017 TTS with the Aerokit and front axle lift. While I do use FAL on occasions, in my opinion it's really not necessary. The front spoiler retracts and when retracted, ground clearance is considerably greater than on other 991.2 variants (I had a 991.2 C4S before the TTS and occasionally hit the spoiler with it) and you will probably be just fine as long as you make sure the spoiler is retracted before venturing over certain potentially problematic road contours.
