I got a pretty good deal last year. 10 years 100,000 miles platinum with $100 deductible for $4,300.

I just purchased an extended warranty with Fidelity, 2014 TTS, 34,800 miles, 6 years/60k miles/250 deductible for $5904

Car is a CPO under warranty until 4/2020, however Fidelity rates jump up another 33% at 35K miles for my car, so it was actually cheaper to buy it now at the lower rate and have essentially double coverage for a year, CPO and Fidelity

Congrats! Hopefully, we do not have to use it.

I purchased a new 991 Turbo in 2014. In 2016 I purchased a 100K extended warranty from the dealer. It was a from EasyCare. It is a gold policy cost was 7,500. Extended care policies for cars are like life insurance. The old you get the more the insurance costs. I had a 2001 Turbo I kept for 10 years at the 8 year point they had to replace the manual transmission. I think the cost was 14K and the extended warranty covered it. I have never owned a warranty on any off the American made cars. Parts for them are cheap. If you are like me and plan to keep the car for many year and drive the car about 100k miles I would by a warranty. Trust me if you keep a 200K car for 10 years something is going to break that cost more than the warranty. It is good piece of mind if you plan to keep the car long term.

Did you have to pay a $250 deductible for both?

$4,300 seems like an excellent price for 10/100,000. May I ask?
1) Porsche Extended Warranty or Fidelity?
2) Dealership where you bought it?

I'm looking for a Porsche dealership anywhere in the country who is willing to negotiate hard on a Porsche Extended warranty plan...when they're not selling a car at the same time. Mossy Motors in New Orleans sells Fidelity Plans at a great price. Looking for something similar with the Porsche plan.

I got it from -

Troy Dietrich
Ford of Greenfield
413.773.5455

When I got this, he told me the main conditions to keep the cost low are 1. Your existing factory warranty should still be valid and 2. You have less than 10k miles. Luckily, I met them.

No. When my turbo had a leak, I worked with Sam and a local shop to replace the stock one with the bigger turbo (VTG 68?). I only paid the difference of about $1,500. The local shop did all the paper work. If I opted for the stock one, I probably would have to pay the deductible.

No, I did not pay anything for the first job. They took care of it

Seems worthwhile to have a good relationship with ones local Ford Dealership...

Hazellp, did you find any dealers willing to work with you?

Troy is a good guy but your price will go up if your vehicle is out of warranty and more than 10K on the ODO

Hello…reviving this thread. I went to purchase a 2020 718 GT4 and finance presented the Porsche Vehicle Service Protection plan. It adds 5 years after the manufacturers warranty is up to 60k for $6k.

Hopefully folks can chime in with their experience exercising the warranty. Was it the same as CPO warranty claims?
