Default Just bought a used Turbo S and had a question.

So guys I am just traded in my 991 Cab for a 991 TTS. I have bought four used Porsche’s in the past. 3 911s and a cayman. Usually when I buy them they have relatively low miles. I think the highest mile car was the cayman at 19k miles. This car has 44k miles. The warranty is about to expire. Is there anything I should get checked out by the dealer while it is still covered? I know these cars are typically bulletproof.
Also, any opinions regarding miles? Does anyone think I should have stayed away from the car?

No CPO? Was it purchased at a Porsche dealer?

It is a 2015 and not purchased at porsche so no CPO. Also clean Carfax. 2 previous owners. Car appears to be well maintained and services up to date. Tires about 6k miles old. It just appears the second owner like to drive it all the time. Isn’t that a good thing? I did meet him briefly. Very nice guy. He traded the car in for an Audi R8 plus spyder. He said he loved the car and had no complaints.

Check to see if the 40k service was done, plugs etc...
The cars are meant to be driven so 40k miles is not an issue. Bring the car in and have it checked out, recalls, over revs, etc. And then enjoy it. These are amazing cars.

+1 on the previous post. Check plugs, coils, and see if you can get a DME report. That will help with analyzing any over revs. And even if this isn't a Porsche Dealership make sure your Rep can give you
a check list of theirs that they approved before selling this car to you.

Good luck with the purchase. Just be careful and thorough.

over revs, so I'm told, are not possible with this car, computer does not allow it to happen

as others have said, get it thoroughly gone over before the warranty expires, but I personally would not have worries regarding 44k miles, they are extremely well made and dependable machines

beautiful car, love it! enjoy

Can’t over rev a PDK.

You are good to go. The cars are bullet proof, and cannot over rev, so you have nothing to fear but fear itself!
