Porsche 991.2 TT/TTS Cobb Tuning Accessport Details and Information Inside
Hello ladies and gents,
Well we have all been anxiously awaiting the Cobb Accessport for the 991.2 generation of Porsche cars. This has been a long process of testing and development which is finally coming to an end. After great support and success with By Design and Cobb Tuning collaborating on previous Porsche platforms, I’m proud to be working closely with the team again. We have several test cars calibrated and on the road soak testing. This includes the complete Carrera line, 718 line and Turbo/Turbo S! Different stages, different fuels and octanes all tested. We have been and continue testing the product and logistics getting ready for release. We can finally start to share information, answer questions, talk about details and share excitement for the AP coming to the .2!
There will be very organized logistics in place for sending your ECU in to have it unlocked and sent back with an access port ready to go. From that point forward you will be able to do everything this tool is known for including data logging, custom tuning and much more. The initial unlock must be performed by hand and the process is designed to have a very quick turnaround with overnight shipping back-and-forth. There will be tracking and a dedicated team to get the process handled promptly and securely.
Gaines have been very impressive. Better than we actually thought even as we hit the homestretch and prepare to launch this summer! Finally! Was it worth the wait? Heck yeah! Stay tuned here for more exciting news, details, Dyno graphs and answers to any questions you all might have. Feel free to reach out anytime and we look forward to putting a lot of smiles on a lot of faces out there!

Sent my car from Pennsylvania to Cali to visit Sam, it stayed a few days and then came back home to PA, but it wasn't the same anymore, don't get me wrong it was just like stock under normal driving, whatever normal means, until you push the stupid pedal past halfway, from that point on you're in Disney World on Space Mountain, and I have a 750 hp Z06, and an 840 hp hellcat, but to 100 mph the Porsche slaps them like red haired step children. EVERY single thing about the car is now better, not just better, much better, even under normal (there's that word again) driving, the shifting, the sound and the drivability feels better. Headers and the Kline exhaust is how the car should sound, it's just a nice mellow tone, again until you push the stupid pedal past halfway, while it won't wake the neighbor's like most of my cars, it's a great performance sound for the Porsche, and Sam, he's like my Cali brother, worked with MANY tuners thru the years, yea I'm old, but Sam was probably the best so far, he couldn't do enough, and I found that Sam does what he says, and does it on time. I had a 5 day window from when the car was delivered to Cali, to when the truck could bring it back, if I missed that 5 day window, it would be 6 weeks to get the car back home, Sam did it in 4 days, so it all worked. Yea it was insane to do what I did, but you know looking back, I would do it again in a second. Thank you Sam, now we just need East Coast Sam

so Sam did everything in my car as a test car and return it to me in time to challenge a 720s moded.
Thanks again Sam

Sam,
I've been waiting just over 2 years for this! Will you or Cobb be publishing detailed and pictorial instructions on how to remove the ECU from the car? I'm moderately handy and have a reasonable set of tools at home. I doubt my dealer would be willing to do the removal, storage of the car, and replacement of the ECU.

Ha ha yes! Testing is going very well I have more information to share with everyone as I compile it all.
Roger, The team at Cobb has spent lots of time taking pictures and putting together instructions which we will have available soon for you all. It’s not so bad at all actually.

Hey John!
There will be lots of support in place to make this easy for everyone. We have even tested ECU turn around. I have a pretty large network that can help guys who don't wish to do the ECU removal themselves. From dealerships to performance shops to race teams.

Care to share who in south florida can help me? I will not be doing any ECU removal myself and I'm planning to do an exhaust upgrade as well. Will be good to know what options do I have from a trusted partner of yours here in Miami.
Thanks!
Thanks!
