I just have to say it. I don't care for this car. At $278k, this should be called "High Margin Edition" instead. If it was $215k, at least I would appreciate that somebody got a spec they like, but it's just not for me. I'd go with a GT3RS for that money (including ADM)
absolutely love. The "Pirates of The Caribbean Gold" just doesn't do it for me. My TTS was close enough in HP and Performance for what I was paying. And besides we all know you'll never use all of its full potential not even on a track.

Your red Turbo is beautiful. However, knowing something of the time, effort and cost of planning, creating and producing a car such as the Turbo S Exclusive and all of the details therein and appertaining thereto, if you like the color (each to his/her own, but I very much like the golden yellow), it is definitely worth it and, although, in the eye of the beholder, it, too, is beautiful. Of course, my mother reminded me that you can get from point A to point B in NYC just as quickly in a blue Buick; but, then, life would not be nearly as much fun nor would there be any reason for style (or brand) differentiation.

My issue isn't the golden yellow. I like Porsche's of every color. It's the markup for some very basic tweaks and pseudo-exclusivity. I just hate to see Porsche getting away with it, and "We, the People" enabling it, but there must be a market...so...

The base price of the Exclusive Turbo is $257,500. When I configure a Turbo S as close to it as I can, it comes in above $235,000. When taking into consideration all of the components especially created for the Exclusive Turbo (e.g., the carbon fiber with gold thread, the additional carbon fiber, the stitching, how the seats and the headliner were done, the wheels that were created for it, etc.), the extra power, the uniqueness, etc., not to mention the cost of the time, effort, planning, design and engineering work that went into it, its base price may easily be seen as well within the realm of reasonable. Further, if one is interested in resale, the values of older Exclusive cars speak for themselves.

+ the 200k ADM on this one... not exaggerating.

For the record, I'm not a fan of the over all "Look" and color either. I just thought it was rare and pretty cool to see and Exclusive car.
Owner of the dealer will probably sit on this one a while for investment purpose.
