991.1 Turbo Front custom Grills / paint front Bumper fins / Grills
 

Decided to paint the black plastic side grill fins on Sapphire Blue and cut some Black powder coated Aluminum Expanded Metal ( Grills) I had from a previous project. Only installed on both front sides ( Intercoolers). I only have a few photos.
Straight forward work:
1) Remove Bumper ( Google it)
2) With a hanger shirt wire, I molded a " mock up" of the shape to be cut.
3) Transferred shape onto a cardboard and cut to shape ( see photo of cardboard cut)
4) After piece of cardboard was trimmed to my liking, I taped it over Expanded metal and cut with Dremel and disc.
5) used a couple of self drilling bolts and Epoxy Glue.

Recommend the center radiator section too next time you are in there, well worth it. Nice job.
