DME report for a PDK car is an odd thing to ask for. It’s not common as it’s basically unheard of to over rev one. It’s also a 2017 under warranty. Buy it. These aren’t the fragile Porsches of the past.

Worth doing a PPI to make sure? No one has addressed the Misfire question, im not sure if it even means anything. Any insight?

See http://www.911virgin.com/porsche/rev-range-information/ for some info.

TL;DR:

So, basically type 1 overrevs are a non-event. Type means that the limit might have been hit.

The misfire number is interesting. I can’t find anything quotable. Operating hours are not shown so calculations are a guess based upon at least 208 hours and an average 2500 rpm engine speed guess... 0.057% misfire rate. I’ll spare the blow-by-blow on other calculations, but if we assume that at one point there was an issue that caused a consistent misfire, that number of misfires could have been accumulated in a few hours. For example, a tank of crappy gas. On the other hand, misfires happen all the time at some low rate. If the rate goes above some threshold the DME will store a misfire error code.

Should you worry about it. Dunno. Probably not.
