Default Saffron Yellow Metallic photos

Came across this Turbo S at my local dealer yesterday in Saffron Yellow Metallic. A very unique color to say the least! Rich with a lot of metallic flake. Looked great with indoor lights and would be spectacular in sunlight.

Does a body shop have any chance at replicating that if the car gets damaged?

That's a fantastic color.

There's a video floating around that shows an interview with a factory employee who is involved in the painting of this color. It's impressive, and it's very time consuming vs. traditional paints.

Hopefully, I will not have to find that out, mine is receiving full PPF wrap to help protect the paint.

Default Paint Code

Is there a paint code available for this colour? One of the members of our BMW Motorcycle Owners of America group would like to paint his bike and restored sidecar in this colour.

I was curious about the pricing for Saffron - can't find the vehicle in either used or new inventory at Ray Catena. Any chance you remember the pricing?

My recollection is that the Saffron Yellow Metallic was something like a 16K option. That is from memory so I might be wrong.

( I went online and all the articles I find seem to say it is around 11.5K, same as PTS. Not my memory but that is what I found online.)
