It sounded very harsh, unrefined, and it droned incredibly bad in the cabin which lead us to not offer it. Someone coaxed the prototype from us and agreed with us. The pipes you see below for the 991.2 Carrera were also warmly thought of but not warmly received once they were run on the car.

You may find the full catless exhaust exhaust yields the volume you are looking for as the resonators are straight through with a good tone that won't punish you for street driving.

Thats mores like it! That video sounds really good!

I just prefer cats to keep the smell in check.

Do you think if you add you anti-drone tubes to that straight pipe system in the video it would keep the drone down?

We wouldn't be able to do that as it would require testing on a car at our facility to determine where in the RPM range the helmholtz resonators would be targeting and also their effectiveness in real life, calculations aside.

Here are some pictures of a Sport X-Pipe Exhaust System that we've almost finished, it just needs our signature satin finish (which you can read more about here). George laid down some great back purged welds (which you can read more about here).

Hi guys, are there any downsides to keeping the factory tips with this setup? Similar sound?

No downsides and no notable sound change that we could hear. I would say most of our 991TT guys keep the factory tips as they look pretty slick already haha

Can any Rennlist members who installed these comment on how they like this system or dislike it? Can you tell me about other systems you looked at prior to purchasing and the difference in sound or other deciding factors?

Its hard finding different exhausts to listen to, so I was hoping a reply to this would help me make a decision. These Soul Exhausts seem like the way I want to go.

Thank you for considering us! Send me a message and let me know where you're located, I'll see if I can find someone near you. You can also give us a call to chat - we'd like to discuss your unique sound preferences, past exhaust history, and expectations to find the most appropriate components for you.

Do you all plan on producing headers for the 991 Turbo/S?

Will these headers be equal length or the typical tube headers?
