Default Another 992 TTS video

Is it me or does it look like there is lateral lean on the sharper turns?

Did not really get the "loud" part. Does sound a little better than stock but too early to tell.

There is a whole lot of "junk in the trunk" at the moment and not sure I am loving the flat rear spoiler. But too much camo and stuff back there to get a good read. I'm sure it will be beast to drive.

As for the looks, I like the looks of the Turbo better than other 992 guises I've seen. There is no visible ugly stop light and the frunk lid front line has been rounded (at least from this shot)

Agree with the look comments above. Is there any hope the center console gets some modifications? Like lose the nubbin?

Interested to hear the HP guesses...if Porsche stays consistent it will 580 and 600 for the Turbo and Turbo S respectively (20 HP bumps from previous). I am wondering if they will elevate torque. I am guessing 10.2 at 133-135 MPH in the 1/4 stock for the Turbo S.

Won’t they keep the hp just a little under the hp of the “exclusive” series 991.2 TTS?

The weight gain concerns me. Panamera trans plus incidentals with be a 180lb gain. I’m going to guess the 992 Turbo S will run 10.46 at 131mph. Will be fun to see what the Mags get.

I think they will go just under - keep the 2018 Exclusiv folks happy and on the 992.2 - it will be 620 for the Turbo S...

T...I have not been following the 992 Turbo cars - Panamera trans? Why? I know the car is heavier...you are correct that this type of weight gain will negate any gains. I wonder if they will bump torque even higher to compensate. I do not like the 992 interior. I have tried - it does not work for me. Happy with my 2019 TTS (As I'm sure you are lol).

Porsche added the Panny trans so it would be compatible with the Panny hybrid architecture. Big weight gainer for flexibility. Just like the Panny hybrid weight vs the standard Panny.

The nubbin is a near-deal breaker for me as I enjoy shifting the PDK manually using the PDK gear selector (the paddles feel cheap/fragile to me).

I'm also not a fan of the flat rear spoiler, and the rear engine vents/slats look tacky to me compared to the current 991.2 TT/TTS.

I'll still probably trade up for a lightly used CPO one in late 2020 (?) as I don't think there is another car that will meet my needs (4 seats, enough trunk to fit a roller suitcase, Lexus-like reliability for daily driving, small enough to navigate the Hollywood In-in-Out burger drive-thru lane, and an 11sec or under 1/4 mile time).

I didn’t think the cars would be released until mid/late 2020 as a 2021 model. Wouldn’t it be pretty difficult to find a used one in 2020? I am thinking used ones would be available in late 2021 or early 2022.

That said, 992 TT will be a big powerful HOG - should be a blast.
