Hey congratulations. You made your choice and I'm sure it will look great. Can't wait to see the posted pics. Enjoy driving her.

Congrats on your order. I'm a little ways (by choice) from ordering my dream car but if I had to order one today, I'd go with a TT myself. Maybe the 992 performance spread between the TT and TTS will be enough to swing my vote for the TTS. We shall see.

Default Turbo makes more sense.

Especially if you are going to track. Five lug wheels, no pccb... who needs it? get your turbo with pdcc and move on.

What squeaky PCCBs? Totally not true. I've had my 2014 Turbo S for more than three years and 24k and the brakes are silent. By contrast my Panamera with steel brakes squealed like a ***** in church.

My steels had a short term squeak for a few weeks. Just debris. It can happen to any of them.

My only big reservation about PCCBs was the price they ask for rotors, but not everyone cares about that. It’s not unanimous, but I think more folks prefer the PCCB feel over the feel of the steel brakes with the stock pads. To me pads are easy to swap but many like to stay with OEM components only. For heavy track use most convert to steel for maintenance cost reasons and for street only most like the “no dust” fringe benefit of PCCBs. I’d say both can be good choices depending on the owner and usage. For street usage and a shorter ownership term PCCBs make sense.

I don’t like centerlocks though. Had them, they require extra tools and maintenance, and I really struggle to see any benefit to them beyond a person’s aesthetic preferences.

I included PDCC in my build. Some don’t like it but I did.

The only option I’d really have liked is to have the higher ECU boost target and whatever else they gave to the Exclusive edition to get it up over 600bhp. The car doesn’t need it but it sounds cool to be in the next set of digits. I suppose the aftermarket can give me that and then some for a relatively modest price if I really want it. For now the car is plenty fast!

April build and May delivery. All set with the Agate Grey Turbo. Fully optioned out with full black leather everywhere and "GT Silver" deviated stitching. Similar to my current 991.2 C2S

I think it's the ceramic pads people get in place of regular pads that squeak on steel rotors. Pads that are not factory parts.
