Default Change brake pads only? Steel brake no PCCB

If the rotors are still 'good' within Porsche's specification, is it ok to change the pads only? If its possible, is re-surfacing the rotors necessary?

Yes. Been throughthree sets of pads, original rotors. Will need new rotors soon but it’s not related.

Me three: totally ok to replace pads on one or more axles without changing or ‘surfacing’ the rotors.

However, DO be sure to follow the recommended bedding-in procedure for the new pads.
