Default One of my By Design Stage 4 Babies came in for a touchup after 10,000 miles and it’s

Hey guys! I know I’ve been quiet for a while working really hard and traveling. We are up to just under 140 by design stage for beasts out there over the last three years. I can’t be happier with the results and customer satisfaction worldwide. Recently a good friend which is another perk of the job… Came in for PDK mapping and a little touch up. At 10,000 miles she’s making more power than before! Enjoy an awesome video and some pictures. I’m really proud of all of The hard work my entire team has put in even though sometimes I can be very picky and treat everyone like the first one it’s proven to be a successful recipe. The Dodson motorsport clutches are working like a charm and really allowing these cars to put some power down. The Cobb software has allowed so much flexibility and GT3 RS character it makes the car just a completely new fun beast. We are putting more power down with it as well for sure! It has also been able to bridge the gap between doing a full clutch upgrade or not as far as clutch longevity and slippage. On the engine side we continue to collect more and more data prove the hardware and improve our calibrations for everyone. Thanks again to everyone for their support and shared enthusiasm I look forward to more development and taking care of more cars and meeting more friends!

LOl I know sorry. buy it should help you couch race in the meantime! By the way this is exactly your set-up plus the Dodson clutches. Even better PDK revision too!

Sam great vid, have you done any 991.1 TTS at level 4 outputs for road course duty? At what whp point ish would you say internals need to be addressed to have a dependable solution that can hold up well over time. Sounds like PDK and clutches are definite weak points. Cars take a beating given frequent redline range use and heat issues.

Great question. We do have clutch upgrades and of course the Cobb tuning PDK upgrade. This is proving to be quite nice and tested beyond preparing for the Pike’s Peak Hillclimb. David was pretty happy with it! We set the cars right around 600 to the wheels so you can beat on them in the road course. Works really well but depends on conditions. We could also go a little higher and best of all you can have several Maps to choose from with different fields and different levels of output. The access port can be set up to give you real-time information as you’re driving and you can monitor it. And I’m always here for revisions tuning and support. 700 to the wheels cars are doing just fine with the PDK software.

For a 600ish whp 991.1 TTS I assume:

Larger turbos
Intercoolers
Plenum
Y pipe
Headers & catless
Pump gas 92?

I've used HP Tuners before so tune issues not a concern. Can a 600 work well with a conservative AFR and no meth? Any other thoughts?

Thanks

That's our Stage 4 recipe with my By Design spec'd parts...All the way up to 9.7 sec or 148mph 1/4 miles making 750-800+ at the wheels. Totally can. On a road coarse I would go to about 560-570 wheel (conservative #'s) running low octane pump. Doesn't do well with heat. With 93 a little more and with 98-100 low 600's for long hard runs. Then we have street and track sprint setups and 1/4 mile set-ups. Even intercooler misting for more road course power like the GT2 RS.
