Buying a used 911 Turbo 2014. some advices please
I am from Dubai and buying a 2014 used 911 turbo which has clocked 75,000 kms on it. the price I bot is around 78000$ and the car is in mint condition. this is my first Porsche even though I had quite a good collection of cars such as Nissan 370z, Nissan GTR and an AUDI S6(family got bigger). never had a Porsche and thought to get one.
how are these car on a reliability basis.? what are the common most seen technical and other issues of cars run these many KMS. I would really appreciate your support of this since I have already paid advance on the car and is about to get delivered this week. thank you and please be kind
if any long term users of 911 or 991 turbo, please write your experiences also. thank you

It's a very robust car. Just make sure that you have the receipts for all work done on the car. I suggest you have a certified Porsche dealer check the car over, and they can pull up all service history on the car to show you any maintenance done, as well as any other issues handled under warranty. Be on the lookout for brake pad changes, which indicates a lot of track use. The car can handle plenty of track work, but it's better that you know in advance.
The price is good with that many km on the car, but a good inspection of the car and service history will tell you if anything major needs to be done.

Thanks a tonne Randyc151
im actually doing a complete test and based on the initial checks, the car is in mint condition. like I mentioned im planning to use the car on a long term basis and would also like to know how are Porsche on long term basis especially 911 turbo. the Audi S6 gave me a engine vibration issues when it clocked over 150,000 kms.

I have about half that on mine, no mechanical issues what so ever. Only things I've had go wrong was passenger airbag module malfunction (kept saying pass. airbag is off when in fact system was operating properly) and the airbags used to open the front spoiler were coming off the car (like they "unglued" themselves, hard to describe - but you drive with front spoiler up and it's all good), which resulted in the entire front spoiler airbag mechanism being replaced. Any car will have random issues here and there. In general, very reliable car and I don't baby her at all.

Track Day
I purchased a 2014 Turbo new. I have 43,000 miles on the car and Zero problems. I live in Las Vegas, NV usually over 100 day over 1o5 Degrees. Car always runs cool. Engine never overheats even in traffic.

Three Wheelin'
When i bought mine, things I hired an expert who evaluates high end sports cars to go do an inspection. He already had an extensive list of things to include in his report but I asked him to report to me immediately on the following list:
1) Spoiler mechanisms functioning properly
2) Tire condition
3) Making sure the ceramic rotors were pristine (no scratches, cracks or chips)
4) Brake pads
5) Tires
6) Service history
7) Any evidence of chassis repairs or bodywork repairs
8) Air filters
9) Any signs of water damage
10) How it drives
11) Any signs of cosmetic imperfection inside or outside
