Anyone waiting for their Car?
 

I just thought I would start a new thread with the end of the year
approaching for those who have placed their order and are waiting for their car to arrive.

I recently received the V300 status and VIN number on my Guards Red TTS that should arrive sometime after Thanksgiving if the car Gods are in my favor.

My car is currently sitting at the dock in Emden, Germany, hopefully in a warehouse, waiting for a boat assignment. If there are any others out there who would like to post their cars whether complete or still in the process do so.

Give any updates as your order progresses.

Post pics when they arrive and give some feed back on your experience.

After my car arrives at the dealership I am having the wheels painted glossy black with new glossy black "RS" center caps that my dealer has already ordered. After the new Escort Max CI 360 is installed and the Ceramic Pro coating placed, we'll be good to go.

Just found out that my car left Emden on Nov 11th, and is on the Adriatic Highway across the Atlantic. It is scheduled to arrive in Davisville, Rhode Island on Nov 24th, the day after Thanksgiving. I should more than likely see my car for the first time the following week as long as customs goes well. From there the Adriatic is scheduled to arrive in Houston, Texas on Dec 1st. So if anyone near the Houston area is waiting for their car you are probably on this vessel. Stay tuned. I'll keep you posted.

I have a very similar car arriving at the port in Benicia, CA this Friday (Guards red. aero in high gloss black, black interior with lots of red stitching). Not sure how long before I get it, but I'm getting itchy...and will most certainly be posting pictures. :) First task is to get the whole thing covered in paint protection film...

Can't wait to see it. Did you get the sunroof as well? I think the Guards Red with the Aero Kit in Glossy Black is stunning. Keep us posted, and yes take a lot of pics.

I got the non-glass sunroof because I didn't want the black roof look. Also got the sport classic wheels in silver (since that's kind of an 80's throw-back look, my era). That's not something I've seen much out in the wild but looked good on the configurator and figured I could always get aftermarket wheels if I don't like them... Will post pictures for sure...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. For those who are still waiting, the Adriatic Highway is set to dock this morning at around 11:00 AM. I spoke to my rep yesterday and hopefully I'll see my car sometime
the end of next week if all goes well. If anyone is waiting for a Panamera Turbo my rep from Danbury informed me it is on the same ship. I hope for a warm start to the winter, otherwise I'll just be stuck
reading the manual.

If you have the black sun roof, I think that is an exact spec of my car. Congratulations. Post more pics when you can.

It should have a red sunroof under the white film. I just liked that look better and am not a big sunroof guy. Otherwise, your car does look mighty similar. This one is all black inside with lots of red stitching and white dials. Will post pictures when I get it! :)
