Default Tracking with lowering springs

I love my 991.2TTS. However, I feel the stance is lacking with the wheel gap and would like to lower it.
However, I am under the impression the majority of folks who lower their 991 Turbos are doing it mostly for looks vs performance.
Does anyone here track their lowered 991TT? If so, did it help, hinder or make no difference? What springs did you use?

I used to have Eibach springs (see Avatar pic) , works very well and added stability and better looks, as part of a broader suspension package.

Some people here are concerned with the discomfort, personally I never felt any.

I used Techart this time on my 991.2. It does improve my feel on track. I used H&R on my 991.1 TTS and it felt even better on track, but the street ride was a little more harsh. I base all of this feel quotient on the climbing esses at VIR, and lowering springs definitely feel much better and therefor faster.

Techart offered most of the track benefits, all of the appearance benefits, and is the better choice for street. Techart is also about 5mm less drop, giving my rear tires more clearance and eliminated any rubbing.

I put GMG springs on my new Turbo. I understand that they are made by Eibach to GMG specs. No track time yet, but in recent AutoX the car felt very flat and handled extremely well. No issues or surprises. Track weekend in 2 weeks so will report back then. Of note is that on the street the car feels very comfortable and not significantly different than stock.

This is awesome info. Thank you guys for taking the time. i put A LOT of highway miles on my 991.2TTS so the comfort is a huge deal for me as well. The all-around aspect is my favorite thing about this car and I don't want to make a big compromise when, really, I am only doing it for looks. Having my friend park his GT3 next to me the other day is what made the height difference so obvious.
