Cheers gents. The proof is in the puddin' as they say. Some simply look at one thing but may not be educated on the big picture. I was not until I learned.

Ok it took a while but I've talked it over with my mechanic and apparently the stock muffler has 65mm perforated tubes. Why the smaller perforated tubes of my kline would make it more efficient is a mystery to me, at least it makes no sense. Do 57mm perforated tubes flow better than 65mm perforated? I don't think so.

Besides we remeasured the perforated tubes and they are just 52mm ID. On the website it says 65mm OD muffler cross section though. Mine must be shrunk over whatever. Oh well, live and learne I guess. My kline will be up for sale shortly.

Problem is that my kline isn't a true 2.5 in system as the tubes inside the muffler are way smaller. A friend of mine told me about the rather small inner tubes of his 997 turbo kline exhaust and that it looked weird for a 2.5 in system. That got me worried so I had a buddy at work cut off one of the muffler tubes so that I could get a better look.
Eventually the perforated tubes that run all the way through the mufflers are just 52 mm. I'm happy with the better flowing cats but I just wished that the mufflers were at least as free flowing as the stock muffler. If 70 mm is better flowing than 63 mm then 52 mm is worse flowing, corect?

So did they send you any explanation ? This is kind of scary especially if you’re spending good chunk of money for their inconel version!

@PorscheJN If you look above mate this was elaborated on years ago There are in fact 3 options to choose from but even the smallest has been proven over the years on hundreds of cars to make serious power/speed. In fact we have a few very fast XR cars even, like Nikolov making over 850 wheel with the smallest and quietest offering. 60-130 in 4.5sec cat1ess and purrs like kitten cruising. I would be happy to go over everything in detail so you not only get what you need...But I will guarantee it 100%!
