2019 TT-S late build
If you had an allotment, at what discount would you order? Assuming a late 4th quarter delivery, able to build your specs, Last of the 991.2 TT-S coupes.
Would you move on 8-10% discount off MSRP?
There are great deals, prices are slowly coming down, but your build at what discount.?
Thanks in advance, will appreciate all opinions.

So many variables to consider - my crystal ball sure looks hazy...
There will be an interruption in supply of TT/TTS when 991.2 production stops and before 992 production begins.
991.2 leases are constantly ending and that injects some supply.
The 992 is still an unknown quantity, historically it should be "better" than the 991.2, but it also has some controversial changes such as the nubbin, digital gauges, more touch screen less buttons (e.g. no garage door buttons).
8% or better is a decent discount, if that's for real then the dealer clearly would rather make that sale versus trading the allocation away to another dealer.
Even after a discount, the car will still depreciate faster than a dropped rock so it's really about the importance of getting a build spec to your taste. Do you want one a new one now, or a new one (992) much later?
Might depend on your build spec, are you getting a yellow cab with a red roof/interior and blue seat belts with green deviated stitching? A tasteful spec with minimal costly options will take a smaller depreciation hit.
If a custom build isn't incredibly important to you, then buying a CPO car is a much better way to net a "discount" and there should be plenty of supply on the market to peruse.

Get a great deal on a 991.2 at the end of the year.............with specs you like....there are plenty as previous poster states......really nice cars too! You could save $ 50K, a CPO Macan, if you buy it right with under 5K miles.............

I placed an order and finalized it today on 2019 TTS I could not find one I liked anyway 10% discount is what we agreed plus any factory money that may be available when it is delivered in DEC..
I did not want to wait on the 992 I was told the 26th the last orders would be sealed

Congratulations OP. You’ll enjoy it! Not many differences between 991 and 992 so no need to worry.

In Canada - this is not even a question as we are treated like a (very) small) State. There are no allocations or new Turbo S (at msrp) laying around Dealerships - used yes - but not new. They go for a premium here - especially the GT3's (although I will admit prices are falling now).

Thanks I sold my 991.1 TTS when I got my 2018 GT3 touring and decided I wanted a turbo S ... I had to sell a car to have Room for this new TTS I originally thought I would sell the GT3 ... but I decided to sell my F12 and keep my GT3..
as I enjoy just was not comfortable with selling the GT3... both will look nice in my garage ...

For perspective, I’m working a deal right now on a 19.
Is pretty much the build I would have selected minus one option.
Sticker is $213900, negotiated down to $190k with 400 miles on the odometer.

If they won't go lower ask for some small stuff - clear side markers if it doesn't have them, tire gauge, floor mats, Experience Center Delivery, wheel and ding insurance free, license plate holder/s, and any other Porsche stuff you like.......I usually do that when price negotiation stalls and they will throw in things to close the deal and it may total up to another $ 500 to a grand....good luck....I would come back with $185k and a few items free and harp on the 992 Turbo introduction effecting prices soon.....
