Question 991.1 Aerokit - Questions SoCal

I've decided to add the aerokit (with the "RS" side sills) to my 2015 Turbo S. Looking for a recommendation for a reputable shop to paint and install in Orange County, CA. Any feedback on the cost to paint and install is also greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any input!

I'm looking for a paint shop as well, has to be in OC because my normal painter retired. I've been scouring the boards for someone to paint my '73T.

My own research has yielded one name - LNC - Laguna Niguel Collision although they seem to be much more of a custom paint shop and less of a straight collision place.

Google them, lots of high end cars there. I spoke to the owner, Dmitri, and he seems like a good guy. Going to bring y 73 by there next week for a quote.

No affiliation, just seems like a good place.

I'd love to hear more recommendations.

Thanks, Catorce.

Sterling Collison Center in Irvine is solid...they did work on previous 911s of mine, but curious about who else is out there. Thanks for the recommendation of LNC...let's see who else pops up.

Have a great afternoon!

Don't have a recommendation but I just got a quote from a local bodyshop here in NY to prime and paint a pair of RS side sills for my 2018 TTS. They wanted almost $1700 for the job. This is just for painting. Not sure if this is the average price or not.

Hopefully, we will get more feedback from others...the indicative pricing I've heard seem to support what you were quoted...seems insane...

John, that’s insane. I can’t imagine just the side sills being more than. $500 for a top notch facility. I’d get a couple more quotes.

Yup. This is from one of the highly rated Porsche approved shops in Mt. Vernon NY. I was expecting between $300-$600.

Use Premier in Carson. Dave and his team do the best work in the area.

Thanks, Unotaz.

I'll give them a call.

Have a great weekend.
