Default Creaking back of car while parked

Ive noticed that when the car is parked if I open the door to grab something and then close the door there is a creaking noise from the rear of the car. Sounds like something is mechanically happening. Not sure if it's the Parking brake engaging or what. Is this normal?

thanks

Default Not just me

I have owned my TT for 6 weeks and over the back left rear wheel I hear the same mechanical "whirring" when I unlock the car...I truly thought I was hearing things in the garage to my building but thankfully I am not the only one - phew...Hope someone out there has the answer!

I was told that it's the dynamic engine mounts that can creak. My car does it going out of my (steep) driveway in reverse.

Happens when car is parked and engine off. Sounds like a hinge door creaking.
