Got a 991.2 TTS and have looked everywhere in the settings but can't find a way to turn it off so it doesn't come on at start-up my default.

I did it at Porsche dealer. You can't do it via menu in settings on your own

Isn't there a button on the center console? I read that it should remember your last setting after you turn off and on the car. Do you have the memory package? Try turning it off and saving it to memory with your key.

I may just be talking out of my **** right now since I still haven't taken delivery of my car but others could chime in.

Yes I do press the button off every time I start the car. I don't think there is a way to save it, I mean you can save your seat settings which I've done. Hence I'm here trying to find out...

Saving settings via your key may work. I have not tried this yet with the auto start-stop, but it does work in saving my sport chrono individual settings (which I was getting tired of re-setting them everytime I turned the sport chrono dial to individual setting). Worth a try.

What did they do? How much did it cost?

Auto Stop Start and the way the memory seats work are my two pet peeves.

key or seat memeory will not save the auto start/stop settings nor will last setting used be set for next startup. However you can program you individual setting in the sport button wheel to turn off auto start stop and save those setting along with all others to your key settings. That said, so far I can’t seem to have my key settings restored with a couple items. Like comfort entry, start stop, and maybe radio.

One last thing- sport or sport plus automatically disables auto start stop when in this modes.

I automatically turn dial to "S" each time I turn key to "on".

Guess I'm programmed.
