Default Front and rear spoiler question ?

Hi guys, a question regarding the front and rear spoiler,

I'm in the last stages of buying a 2014 TT. I test drive it yesterday and the front and rear spoilers didn't operate as they should.

Should both spoilers retract tract when I press sport & Sport plus ? I tried doing that, the car was in P and nothing happened. I would have to press on the spoiler botton for a few seconds until they retract.

Car was fully checked by dealer with no problems whatsoever. No failure messages or warnings in the dash.

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks !

Hi,

In parking mode they will not extend/retract until the car drives off unless you hold the spoiler button and then you will see them extend/retract. This is normal.

Manual operation of the spoilers is they same in all regimes: you push and hold the button until the MFD tells you otherwise.

The spoilers manually operate pushing the spoiler button, not the Sport and Sport Plus button...at least in my 2015...

Once you are moving(around 10-15km/h, one press of the button or sport plus mode will extend the spoiler.
If you are standing still, you have to press and hold the button.

I believe the spoilers are supposed to extend automatically in Sport Plus but not Sport--note that this behavior is inconsistent in my car (2014 TTS).
