Best Super-sticky rear tires for stock 20" CL 991.1 Turbo S wheels?
Hi all,
Porsche newbie here, but not new to modding and driving high hp cars.
What are the stickiest rear tires (launching from dig, roll racing, half-mile racing)) for a 991.1 Turbo S that fit the Center-Lock wheels? Car will end up with 700 whp, so needs to launch hard and stick.
R888s?
Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S? (loved them on my 700 whp modded M4)
Others?
Should I just get smaller diameter CL rears?
Any input/guidance appreciated.
Thanks!

Lots of discussions on this topic, search and you shall find...the new R888's and the MT's are good amazing for the 1/4 mile and you will get the best 0-60 times, but if you are going to do some high speed runs I would recommend some Michelin's P4's or the Cup 2's.

Seems like the R888rs are the only ones available on 20" wheels. Can anyone confirm? Will MT 305 35R20s fit? Looks like they will but want to be sure.
You are right, though, might be better with P4s for half mile events at 180mph+.
Please chime in folks. I very much appreciate your help and guidance.
Thank you!
