Sp got an email from Porsche yesterday letting me know my car is complete (already knew that, its already on the ship), and that I am selected for a Pilot program where they are showing me a picture of my car in the paint shop.

I am calling BS that this is my car for a couple reasons -

1. this is not a paint shop pic
2. I'm no expert but that exhaust looks like a non turbo exhaust to me?
3. I don't think thats the right color car, looks grey. I did order Chalk and it's possible but for the 2 reasons above, I still doubt it.

I got all excited to see a preview. Maybe you guys can take a closer look and confirm or deny this is a 2018 911 TTS in Chalk. (I'm not even sure those are PCCB's)

I did call PCNA and they were unaware of the program.

I hope I this isn't a stock image on the one hand, out of embarrassment, but on the other, I do, because I'd really love to see my car already. LOL

Thanks. That’s what I though. It looks nothing like my991 TTS so I figured. Guess they either screwed up the pic, never attached it or think we are idiots. (Well I am partially an idiot).

That is a 991.2 exhaust. It is a turbo exhaust, as the regular 911 is now turbocharged, however, it is not The 991 Turbo exhaust.

This is 991.2 Carrera with a sport exhaust. It's turbocharged but not a Turbo S.

That’s funny and true. Being a pilot program I’m sure it’s an error in their program. At this point I doubt I can get the right picture but I’m going to continue to try.

November. How long did it take to make your car from time of order?

Jay, from fixed date to delivery somewhere around 7 weeks, assuming everything proceeds as planned from here.

I got selected for this too as my Turbo S was just completed as well. The picture is in the link. You have to go to the site and the image would be somewhere halfway down.

Also the picture didn't load for me on a PC in a browser but it did on my phone. And it was indeed my car from the paintshop since it wasn't a stock photo.

I hope there's more to this pilot program though.

I of course clicked I the link. I do not have that picture anywhere on th sit, on any browser including phones. That’s why I’m disappointed. Why me! Lol.
