I see a Camaro on that list. What are you trying to say?
You are not listening. This is a factory driver. Not a mag driver hopping in 20 cars in one day.
The factory driver (link) was 5 seconds faster than the mag drivers in the camaro. This gives you an idea of what a real driver can do.
Hunt that.

The Camero has over 100 hp more and equipped with a race suspension and yet the Vette beat it? Seriously? What about the 430 Scud with about 50 more hp and much lighter or the Race equipped Gallardo with a 100hp more and lighter and neither could beat the Vette? Please.
FWIW, there are many fine magazine drivers.

As much as I doubt the time, THE Stingray still is one hell of a bargain. Almost $90,000 cheaper than the GT3 I am waiting to order and no hassle doing DE or track events. Also, more than likely run with if not beat the GT3. It does get your attention.

I'm not talking hypothetically about possibly talented mag drivers. THESE EXACT MAGAZINE DRIVERS WERE 5 SECONDS SLOWER IN THE SAME CAR THAN THE GM TEST DRIVER AARON LINK.
This clearly shows a big driver discrepancy. And the GM test car has a cage and fire suppression for safety so it's even slowed a little bit by extra weight.
The Camaro is not on the same level as the Corvette. The drivers are not on the same level as GM's drivers.
At the very least, GM has a video that they have shown snippets of. They will post the entire video with telemetry. Something Porsche just doesn't do. So if you are going to call bs, be prepared to call it on Porsche as well, with there ability to run double zero TBL laps every time.
Just sayin'

Only one video, and that's the ONLY time they have posted that has an exact number. Then they immediately went back to posting TBL's with the 991 Turbo and Turbo S and GT3 if that 7:25.0 is their claimed time.
I'm sorry, but posting one video does not a reputation make. They have had cars lapping the ring for months, I'm sure a billion dollar corp has at least one person who can edit the footage and data.

You mean like a much heavier and lower HP GT-R beating many lighter and higher HP Supercars?
HP to Weight Ratios are only part of the speed equation. Suspension, Handling Aerodynamics, Traction Control, Tires and a Wide Engine Torque Range play HUGE roles!!!

I think so LOL... Feel pretty dumb. In my defense though.. Even manual corvette has paddles behind the wheel.. Like vestiges of a reverse-evolution process (devolution I believe it's called?) they have a different purpose on manual car, but it's not to shift gears

The question remains :
Is faster better?(does it actually feel fast?)
Is bigger better?(size does matter...?)
Is cheaper better?(Yes on that one! Build quality anyone? Anything special about it or just another new Corvette? Would you collect one? Seen it in person...it's just blaaah...it's whatever...)
Excuse my rant...it's all about fast actually...GTR anyone?

BTW, its no bigger than a GT3, but it might be lighter.

Haha, and it has nothing to do with newbie GT3 data reference point, anyone would think flappy padels are for shifting (They are in the slush box) not for turning on and off rev matching ;-)
