Where did you get the information?

BTW, why build a track in LA and not allow Porsche owners to bring their cars to use it? Porsche needs to open the track for Porsche owner events.

Not a race track. Very controlled, with limited capacity. They built it to sell more cars. It's now a tourist attraction. No favors to Porsche owners. One needs to pay to drive their cars with their instructors under their rules. Did that, but that is no DE. Still fun, but not racing at all.

They're having "dealer invitation" events Tuesday and Wednesday.

Its larger than the track in Atlanta and big enough to exercise your Porsche. Its doesn't have to be a race environment. I would love to take my GT3 and track it enjoying its capabilities without fear of law enforcement.

When I was there a month ago I asked about taking my 73RS out....NO GO obviously, due to insurance, etc...BUT, I did get the feeling that eventually they might open it up to owner's cars. Just a hunch....

Hmm.

I just called them and they said they do not have a 991.2 GT3 on display today, nor will there be one there next Tuesday.

This is a very accurate assessment. I thought it might be better for the brand if they showed even a little love to folks who actually own a Porsche.

I called PEC LA twice today and spoke to 2 different reps. Both said the .2 GT3 is NOT there and neither had any scheduled time frame for the GT3 to be there.

Is this another internet rumor? Can anyone else confirm?
