Cheap 2014 GT3, what don't I know?
What things should I know about first generation GT3's and are these prices normal for the cars below?

I plan on negotiating the price but it is the cheapest 991 gt3 advertised. Anything below that you'll find 997.1/2 gt3's and I've already had 2 of those and I currently have a 997.2 turbo s.
Last things I remember about the 991.1's was the seal and engine swaps which I could verify by its VIN but is there anything else I should inspect?

I wouldn't touch a 30,000 mile '14 with a ten foot pole, unless it came with many years and 100k miles of CPO. Even then, I probably still wouldn't take the chance.

These prices are normal. Not cheap, not over.
Normally depreciated cars with mileage.
Make sure you buy the car with warranty (and option to extend it), as 991.1 GT3's mostly need engine rebuild every year or two.

I agree. Pretty normal. My 2014 that I traded on the RS was an early buy-back car and the dealer I traded with turned around and sold it same day for $122K. It was fairly loaded with a $149K MSRP and about 5500 miles.

Wait what??!! I don't own a 991, but I have a hard time believing this. That makes no goddamn sense. There's no WAY these engines are that fragile. This is a mass-produced production car.

Most 991.1 GT3s are fine, and certainly dont need an engine rebuild "every year or two"
I've put 15,000 miles on my 2015 GT3 including 14 track days, and I haven't had any problems, and that's what the majority of 991.1 GT3 owners experience.

Over priced. Stay away from 2014s. I wouldn't pay $60k for it let alone those prices ...

Don't trust Carfax, make sure the car has no accident history.. Measure the paint thickness everywhere...

Levd, that was your experience which is unfortunate but actually very uncommon.

MOST of 2014 GT3s I personally know already had this problem.

It's a plaque, not some unfortunate and very uncommon personal experience. This engine was engineered and born dead.
I'm not talking about forums. I'm talking about cars and owners I see and communicate with on track days.
You can believe me or not.

In fairness to Levd, he has had a lot of problems with his GT3. For example, his paint is flaking off when washing while mine looks brand new after 50+ washes. Some people track their car 1-2 times and need an engine top end rebuild, while others have thousands of track miles without issue.
