Of course you're right, Nick, but if we keep this going, maybe it will inspire someone to post a poll about a back-seats option. Roof rack will follow.

I'd go with the delete if it is available.

Wouldn't it be easier to order with the wing and then buy a wingless aftermarket?

You'd want the other changes that Porsche includes to compensate for lack of wing (like they did with the 911R).

Looks like the 6MT only comes with wing delete.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really hope you're right.

Not going to happen.

This is a GT3. If there is a wing delete they are not going to make it for the "Manual" only.

This is complete absurdity

Interesting way to consume this ......if the R was never produced how many would want a wing delete? My hypothesis is would be less than the poll is stating. Not bashing anyone's choice but it's like taking the cheaper car, and making it look like the more expensive car.

I see the R is a R, and that's what makes it special my opinion. Just wouldn't want my R if I had one looking like a created R, and you know someone will add the stripes because they can. Good luck to all.

If someone wants the manual with a wing, just order the rear deck lid wing attached, later. Yes, it will cost some $$$, but it's just a matter of how bad you want it. I still say there won't be a wing delete option.

But wait, in true Porsche fashion the wing delete will be an extra $$$ cost item.

Someone at Porsche is busting everyone's ***** with the wing delete rubbish. Forget about it... They are on the floor as we speak laughing while reading this nonsense. They did feed this info through " credible " channels though.
I like my source much better!

We shall see very soon who's right and who's wrong...

This talk of a wingless touring variant is really interesting. I could only see that happening if it was a limited edition type thing for the already limited production 991.2 3... like only offer 100 of them for absurd prices. That being said, as someone already said, if anyone wants to go wingless bad enough, it can be done and had been done already with the 991.1. Just don't take turns too fast without the underbody aero
