Best show on TV - I thought of it the moment I saw a post about the doors too :)

Normal doors and better dealership network.

Do those, and I will seriously consider a McLaren. Otherwise, it's just a non-starter.

I have a tight 4 car garage. The Porsche regular doors are difficult to open, so I was very surprised how "space saving" the 650s doors are. Can open them fully when the GTS doors can be barely opened to the second notch.

Is there much of a height issue in the garage (i.e. if there is a garage door mechanism 7-8' off the floor)?

No, I have a high ceiling, garage door mechanism is pretty high as well, and it is in the middle of the garage, so it is between the cars. (two double garage doors)
Bendpak is coming for the 5th car in March!! (cannot wait!)

Could you imagine some garages having a problem with height or is the angle of the doors' rising unlikely to hit anything?

It does not open higher than 6'2'' maybe 6'3''. Would be a very low ceiling.

I have been well treated at all three of the Porsche dealerships I have bought cars from. Some others that I have visited have been a good experience as well. All it takes is one arrogant salesperson or dealership to leave a bad taste in one's mouth.

My experience at Scottsdale McLaren was very positive. Carlo was very knowledgeable and friendly even though he knew I was not going to be an immediate buyer. He peaked my interest in McLaren so I have tried to stay up on what they are doing. For me to consider one, however, I would need a dealer nearby. Unfortunately the closest one is 300 miles away. If the economy stays strong and they are able to expand their dealership base, I expect them to continue to grow quickly. To me McLaren equals or exceeds Lambo and Ferrari with out the attitude I hear so much about.

In regards to the distance factor- we have a lot of customers in Colorado and New Mexico, Utah and Nevada and always just use the McLaren Roadside Assistance to bring them down. Or, we do some kind of scheduled maintenance on the car every 6 months/ 12 months etc to make sure that your car is never a let down.

Thank you for the kind words on Carlo.

Guys the P14 doors open so economically and ergonomically it's ridiculous. Way tighter parking is possible now.

Plus, the roof cutout opens with the door, similar to the original F1 so there is less of a sideways squat to get in and more of a "drop straight down".

just wait. P14 is going to be fantastic.

How fantastically expensive will it be? $250-$300 (ie, 488, Huracan coupe range including reasonable options) or 3-4 handle?

same as 650S cars were, as with anything it's all about how gnarly you go on options.

I think cars will be sticking at 315k with options included

I have a lift, so this would be a problem if parking in the lower position. The McLaren would always need to be on top.

somebody can tell why the 675LT got 235/35 front tires?
why they don't put 265/35 on (as the 991 RS for example)

same in the back.

on cars like this a plus of 30 or 20mm of rubber at each corner cuts laptimes.
even if the LT is 150kg/330lbs less.

I would like to see a N/A engine in a McL. imagine that.
with manual.
675 R. :D
BMW (as back in the days with their S70/2 in the F1) can't help anymore... :crying:
