We're working on finalizing the CAN decode for the engine data tomorrow. I'll try to share some of the crank case pressure sensor data, and start to put together what this will look like!
We have big plans with this CAN data as we can get at anything the car is monitoring this way, ride heights, brake pressures, engine parameters etc...

Hi Fred, this is going to be some machine work in the head required, a pretty involved install, (timing cam shafts, inspecting the rest of the engine for wear etc...). In the short term will be North America only for testing, but we have friendly shops around the world that are competent to do this work and we'll be working with them!

The software/hardware engineer and I had a call about the Crank Case Pressure, CAN logging box we're designing today. We've decided that we're going to include an SD card in it to aid in getting the data out and upgrading it for track data logging, etc. We're also upgrading the chip set so it's nice and quick.
We'll also have an option for a small display. This will be plug and play, plug it into the OBD port and it will start logging.
The idea for use would be to put it in the OBD plug and let it log after an oil change, for say 1/2-1 tank of gas. We're including RPM, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Throttle angle, Load so you can see the crank case pressure once the car is warmed up and at various load ranges so that the data can be sorted and compared to old data...
Once we get this out, we will work on a "Track Pack" upgrade for the logger, and Motec/AIM or other dash integration so you can get all the specific data you've been wanting to get, Brake pressure, individual wheel speed, shock ride height sensor data (nice for aero setup and suspension tuning).

I should have the final prototype the first part of next week and we'll grab the Crank Case Pressure data and hopefully be able to show you all what it looks like...
For now this is for 991 GT3/RS we'll also test on GT4 to see how much work it is to port it to many of the available Porsches...

This sounds awesome. I love the idea of addressing the wear issue, while also getting a hotter head and cams. Once mine is close to being out a warranty I can see sending it in to have you guys do the full treatment, including headers. Slap a cage in it and call it done!

Hey Grant. But didn't Matt dyno his with headers and get 50hp gains? Thinking heads, cam and tune should be good for another 25hp, but I could be wrong!

This is what I remember reading...
"The tune for the 991 GT3 with the Dundon Race Headers is good for 10-12whp vs the 40whp the headers alone give."
That's whp. So thinking 550 at the crank might not be outrageous, given heads and cam on top of it. Could be wrong!
