If you get it with X73, it's going to be GT3 stiff. Or maybe even stiffer with GT3 in normal mode. But I really like the non-adjustable tuning of X73 on the Cayman GTS. Stiff, but not harsh, and beautifully balanced. The GT3 is 10mm lower than X73, so probably not much more compliant. But yes, on broken pavement, neither one will be fun for long.

I really don't find it rough at all... It is much more refined than other setups I had especially on my 997TT with motons and 900/600 H&R springs (R/F)

Bingo.

Makes me think you bought the car to 'look cool'.

If you aren't going to use a GT car on track, and then complain it's too rough, please... Sell it to someone who will enjoy it as its meant to be... ON TRACK.

THERES A REASON PORSCHE MAKES OVER 20 variations of the 911. Buy the one that fits YOUR use case.

It's not plush, but it's not intended to be. Actually for the performance on tap, its pretty amazing that the car is as refined as it is. For me, in the softer suspension mode, the car is just fine to drive around town. I know someone above said that its the most comfortable GT car they've had. I would only point out that in the comfort department some of the modern Ferrari V12 cars (e.g. F12) are significantly more plush & comfy feeling than the GT3 RS. I put that down to the GT3 RS being more than just a GT car, its really a street legal racer.

If you don't track your car, TT or TTS is better all-around choice than GT3. Maybe even C4S with aero kit or new GTS if you'll wait for a while.

i have been riding the GT3RS (no experience with the GT3 though) on VERY poor central italian roads for a 1000km now and sometimes i feel that the ride is too harsh as well. certainly the ferrari 458 italia and speciale ride better. but then recently i have done a stretch of the same roads with a supposedly very compliant fiat rental car and i felt uncomfy as well. now i think that the RS rides ok, even on bad roads. not ferrari-ok, but ok::)))

I would also like to know where you live. I live in WI which has "third world country" road quality and I have been shocked at how well the GT3 rides on the roads here. It's way better than other cars I have owned. It's bit stiffer than my Carrera S but it actually takes the pavement joints better. I feel like I could drive it daily with no problem.

Like other posters said life is short; trade it in for a Turbo S or a new 991.2.

He's obviously a new to the P GT range of cars. Sure he may have bought the wrong type of car for his needs but no need for some to chastise him.
A bit of polite sharing of experiences and knowledge would be a more useful contribution.
Of late this forum for sure as heck needs it!

+1 - reads like a bunch of extremist.

Good news is that it is an easy car to get out of. Test drive a few alternatives like an AMG GT S, 570S, R8 V10+ etc. So many great cars at the moment.

I think this car is extremely comfortable given its capabilities. With the sofas it's more comfortable than my 997TT which is a GT car. I could easily DD it.

The 12C I drove was surprisingly compliant thanks to the carbon monocell.
