It's your roads in your area. When I drove my Boxster from Seattle through Oregon, it was a beautiful comfortable ride. That change when I got to the bay area where roads sucks.

It's not too rough and not much different then my Cayman S. Check your tire pressures if you think it's really rough.

it is rough, i would simply change the fronts to 1200/1400 lbs. then you should glide over any rough pavement.

Rides much smoother without the weight of a rear license plate.

Looking at your thread history, seems like the GT3 hasn't been a good fit?

I'm inclined to say "it's you" but it really depends on your definition of "rough". If you are comparing the ride to a BMW 3 series or Mercedes C class than I'd agree with you. If you are comparing the ride to any competitor or previous or even current generation 911 then I'd think you haven't done your homework. The 991 GT3 is amazingly well sorted and comfortable. for daily driving duties. At default settings it's very compliant for what it is...if you think it's too rough I'd recommend looking at a Carrera with 19's if you want to stay in the 911 family, or a Maserati GT or M4 if you want a bit more GT in your GT.

I was chasing a 996/ 997GT3 when I stumbled into the 991 GT3 area. First 991 I drove was driving off in the GT3. The initial impression was it was much softer and easier to handle than the earlier generations. I find it just as comfortable if not more than my 997TT although with the Turbo you pick up a level of luxury not in the GT3. I'd suggest giving a Turbo a drive. It would be very easy for you to find the pick of the litter with a GT3 trade.

Best wishes in finding something that fits you correctly. I'd suggest not chasing a softer setup but thats my .02.

So far I've only seen "too rough" comments from people whose GT3s had delivery spacers not removed during pre-delivery prep. Worth checking

I thought the 997 GT3 was a LOT rougher. With the sofas you could drive across country with the 991. But it is a sharp edged track weapon. It is going to be stiff.

Turbo! You will like it a lot better. But drive it first to be sure.

GT3 too rough?

Get an RS, or a MacLaren.

What city do you drive in? Maybe moving to a city with nice roads is an option😎
That way you can keep your GT3!
