I'm beginning to think it's going to be revealed in Paris rather than Geneva.

I am # 2 on the waiting list as I put the deposit a year back with my dealer who is 20th biggest Porsche dealer in US... Hence not sure when and how many allocations they will get as there 19 dealers ahead of this dealership who sell more Porsches in a year

How much impact--I don't know. What I do know is that if it is 4.0 and manual--it will have a something more than "no" impact!

Since the 911R is sold out, you don't have to worry about spending "300K for exclusivity"

I like the 991R but most probably will never get one, the flip flop market is crazy $1million people are going mad.
But I like the idea of getting a 991.2 4.0 MT at MRSP as a consolation prize! Probably not cheap consolation but at least resonable.
While I think many will agree I also think they are delusional. If it's the same engine, gearbox, body shell, suspension, wheels, brakes etc...then what on earth would the difference be other than the badge and nonsense pedigree?

An estimate of the market premium plus the cost of the car. Not available at sticker. If it was a lot less whining would be heard.

If this forum is any indicator, they can make the rev limiter 9001 in neutral only and it will be the best 911 ever!

Exactly, I don't understand this it's not a track car when referring to the R. It's a marriage between GT3 and RS, how is it not capable of being a track car. Just marketing non sense to me.

Sorry must not have been clear. Meant 300K over MSRP. Obviously you can't get one at MSRP.
