for similar costs (market is nearly 300k RS vs 395k for 675LT) there is no way anyone driving them back to back can not like the 675LT better.
Yesterday I had my first encounter with a 675LT in Atlanta...

I have a new goal to pursue... However by the time I get there McLaren will likely have a quantum leap of that model....Which may work in my advantage for cost/depreciation $$ for the 675LT

Trying to by a plane now.... But the 675LT fogs that,,,

Well McLaren will be introducing a replacement by 2017, and I doubt the 675LT will depreciate maybe the spider but I have my doubts about the coupe.

Yup, another reason why we are getting a GT3/RS cars in NA form in 2017 and 2018. Porsche can sell out of all GT3s, GT3RSs, GT2s, and GT2RSs that they can produce.

The more I think of it, the more I realize that Porsche shouldn't build a GT2, or maybe use the GT2 name on the 960, it makes much more sense. Since the Turbo's acceleration and top speed are almost the same[and sometimes better] than a 2-wheel drive lightened version of the same car(the GT2) and the GT3/RS would be close in terms of lap times. They should reuse the GT2 name for a 488/675 fighter than can be lighter than a 911 and have better handling characteristics; basically a funner car to drive.

What do you guys think?
I really think that Porsche will make a GT2RS on the 991.2, AP said it himself.. it will be released at the end of the 991 body (2018). I'm very curious about the specs of this "widow maker"! And for sure it'll be a limited production run again like the 997 GT2RS…

I guess that makes sense. They just announced the turbo regular Carrera, and .2 911 Turbo and Turbo S. Porsche will want to sell a bunch of those before they announce and sell the most extreme 991 turbo variant.

So would we expect a GT2 at Franfurt 2016? That would give them a lot of time to fill up the order books for the Turbo/S

IAA Frankfurt is a 2 year cycle, next is in 2017, Porsche releases GT cars at smaller events like Geneva or may be even LA, next Frankfurt you will probably see a production preview of the Mission E and a 718.

VIP can have both TurboS for sofa driving
and GT for home track home or cars n coffee driving

They don t need nor would cheat anyone for selling

is just for keeping the customer attention continuously focused on the brand

in few words we need smthing to keep our eyes on the
brand regardless we buy this Macan or that 911

in a word selling is an indirect consequence
and GT Halo are there for heritage and Brand attention objectives

Well that's disappointing but on the other hand maybe it means that they want to build the 960 and want to differentiate between models.
