I’m curious - what drew you to the Lotus?

Looks, something different (I have had a lot of Porsches but never a Lotus), manual transmission, affordable.

Some photos of my garage, full of cars. The garage holds 9 cars, but we have 11, so 2 cars live in the barn. Arrangement of the cars is ever changing.

Yes, we have many cameras outside and inside the house and garage. Had them professionally installed. The cameras can be set to make recordings, turn on lights, warn someone that they're being recorded, etc. I think it's a very effective deterrent to keep people away and check on the house when not home, especially on vacation. Of course, we have a comprehensive security system as well. Basically, it's not possible to get near or in our house or garage with being detected.

Glad to see a W204 C63 in there, I have a facelift sedan and it is one of my favorite cars in the stable.

Totally agree. That's the car that got me started down this slippery slope. When I bought the car, it came with a free track day at the AMG Driving Academy. Since it was free, I decided to do it, and I had so much fun that I wanted to do more track days, which led to getting a Porsche, then more Porsches and other cars, and then having to find a house with a big garage. And now, even compared to the other cars, I still love the C63 engine response and sound, and the steering feel, handling, and brake feel of the car, so I'll probably never sell it.

The cars are all shared between the wife and I, since she also likes cars and drives on the track. If I was the only one who liked cars, we'd probably only have ~4 cars.

I like white, but having four white Porsches wasn't intentional. Cayman R was already built, and we bought new, and I like that color best for that car. I wanted white for the GT3, and still prefer that color for that car. 991.2 cab and TTS were bought used, and they happened to be white. If I could build to my preference, the cab would be a darker color and the TTS would be silver, but I like them in white too (otherwise, wouldn't have bought them).
