This gives some perspective on the in-floor heating tube array... Not pretty like the above awesome F1 display. Wow that's a gorgeous garage!
What is interesting is that we can use an infrared detector to look at the floor and determine where to drill whenever installing any lift or bolting things to the floor that have penetrations deeper than 4" because the tubes will be at the bottom of the 6" pour.
Gotta love technology!

@ad2330 where did you get that air compressor? I love the wall mount.
The unit on the far right is my electric Hotsy power washer unit. It’s sitting on a custom fab’d shelf.

This is best thread on the internet. I have been following along for a long time and taking notes. There are lots of great garages and ideas here that I am trying to implement into our current house plans. I have less of an interest in the house than I do in making sure the garage is laid out right. I think the wife finally has accepted that. I have a question about jackshaft garage door openers.
The Liftmaster 8500 jackshaft opener is rated for max width of 18’ and max height of 14’, max sq footage of 180 sqft. Has anyone used this on a larger sized door and if so any issues? I have two 20’ wide by 8’ high doors going in. Curious if I should move up to the Liftmaster MJ which is their medium duty jackshaft opener. Anyone here have a Liftmaster MJ and if so what features is it missing compared to the 8500?
Thanks
