The last week in Nürburg this year has come to an end.
Such a rewarding weekend it was, met new friends, met old friends, met old corners, met no new corners.
It has been a very cold week which peeked today. Tomorrow when I'm leaving it is of course getting warmer again
Some picts from today.

I hear you, Dan, but i look on the bright side. If we didnt have snow in Colorado wed have 40 million people, soul crushing traffic, high taxes and not have a top 10 quality of life. Thank god for snow! lol

Went to Nürburg last Thursday and met up with amongst others: EngelJizzle and CT_Pete from RL.
Thursday track was closed and all we did was registering and preparing for next days trackday.
On Friday I was hoping to do a 7.49 in my 997.1GT3 as my best so far with that car was a 7.52.
It was pretty cold 3-5°C.
I started with a warmup lap at 8.29.
The Engeljizzle jumped joined me in the car as passenger for two laps.
First lap was a 8.01 and the second one 7.43(!).
I found it hard to believe and had to watch the video to be sure.
I have no idea of where these 9 seconds came from.
It was a bit unexpected as Engeljizzle was in the car and that the front tires basically was gone. It was so much understeer and poor braking.
I went to the tyre shop and put on new Cup2's in the front - rear was pretty OK.
This is that lap:
After lunch with new front tires I did 7.38 alone in the car. An improvement of 14 seconds!
Of course my phone was full so no video of that...
CT_Pete joined me in the afternoon for some laps. Did a 7.49 and a 7.48.
Here's the 7.48. We didn't go full throttle on the long straight because it came drops of rain also I've had some de-lamination issues and I don't want that with a passenger in the car.
Basically the Friday was a pretty good day.
After the driving it was time for me and Englejizzle to register for the next day race. We've got the chance to get a ride in CT_Pete's brand new GTS. Nice car!
Pete was our private chauffeur

As much chauffeuring as both you and Englejizzle did for me around the Ring, it was the least I could do. Not too sure Englejizzle was a fan of riding in the backseat, but he did make for a good auto seatbelt extender.
