FYI
Scuderia Hanseat Spring Course 2021
We are pleased to inform you that the spring course 2021 is almost fully booked, currently there are only 3 seats left.
As a participant, however, you are certainly asking yourself whether the course can actually be held. This question also concerns us, therefore we are in constant contact with the Nürburgring to guarantee compliance with the currently applicable requirements.
Our CORONA concept for the event last fall was rated as "exemplary and professional". We can adopt this concept, with some minor adjustments, for the 2021 spring course. The changes relate in particular to the type of hygiene masks and their mandatory today’s wearing regulations.
As we all know, regulations can change weekly, sometimes even daily. However, we are confident that we will be able to hold our spring course as planned, in compliance with the specifications from our CORONA concept. For understandable reasons, we cannot publish the version that will apply to the event until shortly before the course.
If the course cannot be held due to an official order, the participants have the choice between a free rebooking on one of the next courses or a refund of the already paid participation fee.
We are looking forward to the spring course and to four great days at the Ring with the Scuderia family.
Best regards
Scuderia Hanseat

Of course it started to rain the minutes before the one hour TF started. Dry the whole day and nice weather otherwise.
Got two laps before they had to close thee track because of an accident.

So, tomorrow is the first NLS or VLN race of the year. Yippie!
I guess this race will be a bit like the Nürburgring 24H: All cars that makes it to the end are winners.
We do qualification with start at 08:30 - Forecast says snow during the 1.5 hour of qually. The car must do one lap to make it to the race start.
At race start 12.00 the weather looks better but just 4-5°C. I guess there will be a dry line but it will be sketchy on some parts of track where sun doesn't reach this time of year.
There where a lot of cars today with unexperienced drivers preparing for the race tomorrow.
There is a lot professional drivers that feel they must show the team that they are the best one to choose for the N24H race in June.
There is a lot of drivers that haven't been to the Ring since September 2020.
Some drivers have never driven on the Ring in the wet.
This mix in combination with not perfect weather will probably be "interesting".
I hope we can keep our cool and stay out of trouble.
All dressed up and ready to go

Well...
I did the first and so far only stint in qually.
Rain and snow and unfortunately they red flagged the qually after just 7 minutes.
Now situation seems to be that every time they inspect the track it starts to snow ?
At this point we have no idea if race will take part or not.
