A couple of ways to look at it.

The good news is that Porsche hooked up the 4.0 to a MT. Most likely 991gt3 gen2 will be 4.0l and possible to order with MT.

911R looks really good IMO. It's not made for me. Personally I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of effort for a real lightweight.
Would be amazing with manual seats/windows/ mirrors. A different center console with old fashion switches.

Funny that 90% of RS owners do not track it
and that R is limited...

Screw that crap...I'm in touch with the 918 owner who I bought my GT4 from to buy this car and I'm going to be tracking it. Why? Because I want to see what it can do on the track.

Anyone know if the R comes with a track warranty (like the GT3/RS and GT4)?

Add rear wing, run it on 19" slicks assuming no RWS, flash ECU to 9k redline and enjoy

Isn't it essentially an RS without the wing? I don't get it...what's the big difference? No RWS? No lift? It's just more BS for the C&C-Specers to flaunt their 1 x XX

It has downforce and RWS - could be plenty competent and fun on the track

Can you please share how many bushels of $20.00 is the 918 owner wanting to sell you his UNOBTANIUM 911R?

Drive safe,
