PDK-S is unlike any double clutch in auto mode I have ever driven. It is always in a "sport-inclined" mode and always prefer to stay at a lower gear than a normal double clutch. On my C4S, light throttle at 36 mpg will go to 7th, while this will only go to 5th. It always "likes" to be on a lower gear but not overly so like Sportplus in a regular 911. As soon as you drive it harder, it immediately switches to a more aggressive behavior. Like David Donohue says, he drives it in Auto for hot laps because it is so intuitive.

PCCB stops on a dime. Exhaust sounds awesome but will be more awesome when I put on the Sharkwerks pipe next week.

The 458 was my favorite double clutch ever, but now this one is.:burnout

Just stunning pictures of your GT3. I really love the wing on this car. Of any other wing Porsche has made they just nailed it on this one

Mooty - Love your car also. Is that an RS?? Did you paint the whole spoiler afterwards??

Great pics and comments.

Question--do you have any sort of tint on your car? If so, details?

Thanks!

Porsche painted it for him. They also gave it a 4L engine. :)

are you going to? From what I hear, California has rather strict laws on tinting your car.

Is tinting still commonly done there? Maybe a lighter tint so cops don't know if it's aftermarket or not?

I have a white car arriving this month. I usually tint, but am leaning toward not doing so this time.

If you are on the fence about tinting; do no do it at first but at a later time if you decide you want to then you always have the option.

Yep--great advice, Jim. Thanks.

That's the plan. I figure if later on I feel it's missing the tint (looks and / or lack of heat rejection), I'll have the option.

Removing the tint usually is not a problem.
